THE FIRE HOUSE APARTMENTS

The works comprise the construction of 12 no. New Build Apartments with 5 no. integral garages together with associated external and infrastructure works at the junction of Jubilee Road/Nottingham Road, Daybrook, Nottingham.

The four storey New Private Residential Apartment Block – comprised of trench fill and pad foundations a reinforced concrete ground floor slab, with a traditional masonry load bearing structure, with pre-cast concrete floor beams to first second and third floor.

External walls were traditional masonry construction with facing bricks, insulated cavity and blockwork inner skin. Internal walls were a mixture of load bearing masonry, timber and metal stud walls with a plaster finish. Staircases were timber with appropriate fixtures and fittings. A traditional slated roof on a part trussed and part traditional roof structure with aluminium rainwater goods.

Windows and external doors were aluminium and timber with Juliet balconies were necessary. Internal doors were a pre-finished veneer solid core door with stainless steel ironmongery. All appropriate internal finishes were applied to walls, floors and ceiling, along with designer kitchen fittings with integrated appliances and sanitary ware to bathrooms along with all electrical and heating services.

Externally all hard landscaping including macadam, mixed concrete paving and perimeter fencing to incorporate the private parking areas.
