About Us - Awards

The following is a selection of recent awards which the Company has received for Craftsmanship and Quality on some of its recently constructed projects. This we believe is a compliment to all of the staff who work for the Company and a tribute to the training and ethos of the Company.

In addition to these awards the Company has also, this year, been awarded Nottinghamshire ‘Employer of the Year’ in the 50-249 employees category at the Regional Apprenticeship Awards. The awards which are hosted by the Learning Skills Council and recognise outstanding achievement across five different categories.

2007

• Community Benefit Award in the RICS East Midlands Regional Awards 2007 and Runner Up for Building of the Year 2007 for the Derwent Stepping Stones New Nursery and Community Facilities, Derby.
• Commendation in The Civic Trust Awards 2007 for the New Outlook Centre, Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

2006

• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Nursery and Community Facilities at Derby Sure Start (Derwent Stepping Stones).
• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the Reinstatement of the Castle Terracing and Rock Face at Nottingham Castle.
• Civic Award for the Reinstatement of the Castle Terracing and Rock Face at Nottingham Castle.

2005

• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Church at Long Eaton.
• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Warehouse and Showroom for John A Stephens Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham.

• Premier Award for Outstanding Craftsmanship for the New Warehouse and Showroom for John A Stephens, Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham.

• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Regional Offices for the GMB Union, Nottingham.

2003

• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Brunts Business Centre and Office Complex, Mansfield.
• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the New Tourist Information Centre at Chesterfield.

2002

• Commendation in the National Civic Trust Awards for the Restoration and Refurbishment of the Waverley Building for Nottingham Trent University.

• Lord Mayors Award for Notable Contribution for the Public Exterior to the Castle Museum and Art Gallery, Nottingham Castle.

1998

• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the Refurbishment and Restoration of Malt Cross Music Hall, Nottingham.
• Certificate of Craftsmanship from The East Midlands Joint Consultative Committee for Construction, for the Extension and Alterations to Belvoir Vale Rest Home, Widmerpool.
